Economic independence and self-sufficiency are key to the advancement of the Black community in the 21st century. Historically, one of the biggest hindrances has been access to capital. The ability to fund our projects, dreams, and hopes starts with pooling our resources. To go further faster, we must do it together. The MAD Foundation will help strategic partners and community activists ‘buy back the block’ and create jobs by helping Black- owned businesses thrive and grow.

The Michael Adrian Davis Foundation "Road through 60"
The work to improve conditions in the city of Memphis can't wait for a building or one single group or program. It is going to take the village coming together in both physical and financial ways.
While there is a place for city, county and private/government grant funding, Michael Adrian Davis seeks to create a pool or resources that will empower concerned groups and individuals, "the black red-cross, if you will," Davis says.
THE FANTASTIC 5000
Our overall aim is to gain 5,000 contributors to the Foundation's fundraising initiatives called "The Fantastic 5000" club.
Monthly, these funds will be used to pour into our communities the dollars and commonsense programs through grants, stipends, loans and cash incentives for worthy causes and heroic individuals making positive changes in the black community.
I am calling on you to become a "Partner In Help" by pledging $20 per month for one (1) year to STOP the senseless crime currently running rampant, and to create and strengthen existing community businesses and services.
Brothers and sisters, it is going to take All of us to stop this violence and pave a more favorable future for ourselves and our youth. Thank you for being one of the 5000!
